Nutrition Programs and Education

Congregate meals.
Seventeen service providers serve nutritionally balanced hot meals each day, five to six days a week in a congregate setting at senior centers.  These meals provide 1/3 of the adult daily nutrition requirement to persons over the age of 60 and their spouses, regardless of economic standing.  Meals are available on a volunteer contribution basis.

 Home Delivered Meals.

The same meal served at the senior center is delivered to  senior citizens who are homebound due to illness, isolation or incapacitation. Evening and weekend meals, as well as special diets, are available if needed.
